International Conference of the “Mediation in the Community” project

The International Conference of the “Mediation in the Community” project took place on December 16-17, 2008, at the “Confort” Hotel in Bucharest. This Conference was organized by the Foundation for Democratic Change, ALMA-RO and the Institute for Crime Investigation and Prevention of the IGPR, and was attended by representatives of the police, authorized mediators, as well as foreign guests, who presented mediation models, as applied in the countries they were representing.

Projects

Mediators

Our team of mediators has 11 years of experience in the application of alternative dispute resolution methods, including mediation, both within group disputes and interpersonal ones. The partnership between FDC and the General Inspectorate of Romanian Police had provided to FDC's team, access to a rich and diverse case law.
