International cooperation
Since its very beginning, the Foundation
for Democratic Change (FDC) co-operated with
Conflict Resolution Research and Training Centers from Europe and North
America.
In our desire to always improve the quality of services offered
to our beneficiaries, the FDC maintains a close partnership with
many research centers and international scholars in order to be
updated with the latest techniques and methods of conflict prevention
and resolution used world-wide.
FDC’s experts were trained
by North American and European Conflict Resolution Training and
Research
Centers, followed by post-graduate
specialization courses. Our experts implement western methods of
conflict resolution modeled accordingly to the cultural specificity
of Romania.
Besides partnerships with research
centers, the FDC developed through the ”SEE NGOs for the Stability Pact” project an environment
where regional cooperation could take place between South East European
NGOs. Because of the high impact on its activity and the increase
potential of cooperation with other SEE NGOs, the FDC developed
a follow-up project “SEE NGOs
in Support of the Stability Pact” that is currently in progress.
FDC values highly its international partnerships and hopes to deepen
the current ones and create new partnerships in support of future
projects.
