Conflict resolution

The Foundation for Democratic Change (FDC) constantly promotes conflict resolution concepts and related skills development.
Since 1996, FDC's specialists provided training, consultancy and technical assistance for national and international NGOs, Romanian professional associations, and local/central public administration from Romania.

Among the beneficiaries of our work are:

• Romanian NGOs i.e. CENTRAS, Pro Democracy Association, Centre for Inter-ethnic relations in Transylvania (CCRIT), Pro Europe League, AIESEC (Association of Students in Economics), Intercultural Institute of Timisoara, the Women’s League, the Resource Centre for Roma Communities, the TERRA MILENIUM III Foundation, ALMA – RO Association, etc.
• International NGOs: World Learning Romania, RTI International, Development Assistance Inc., several NGOs from SEE countries;
• Professional associations: the Association of Economic Directors from Romanian county Councils, the Federation of Romanian Local Authorities, the Association of Towns from Romania, the Association of Municipalities from Romania;
• Romanian central administration: the Department for Interethnic Relations from the Romanian Government, the National Council for Combating Discrimination, the Institute for Crime Research and Prevention from the General Inspectorate of Romanian Police, Romanian Intelligence Service-Department for Relation with NGOs and Public Administration Institutions;
• Romanian local administration: Bucharest Sector 6 City Hall, Timis County Council, Mures County Council, Brasov City Hall, Teleorman County Council, Botosani City Hall, Galati City Hall, Bucharest Sector 2 City Hall, etc.
